Thanks in part to a grant from the Princeville Resort as recommended by Mayor Bryan J. Baptiste, members of the Marine Corps League are offering registration of bicycles youngsters received as Christmas presents from The Salvation Army.
The donated bikes will be registered with the County of Kaua‘i free of charge at the Hanapepe Corps of The Salvation Army this Saturday, Jan. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, and the following Saturday, Jan. 15, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at The Salvation Army Lihu‘e Corps. Those registering the bicycles must be 18 years old with proof of age. They must bring the bike and the TFT certificate that was attached to the bikes.
