Merry Christmas by the way and thanks to Christmas, the KIF soccer season will take a break, at least until Wednesday, December 29.
Waimea will host Kapa‘a at Hanapepe Ballpark at 4 p.m. in JV action.
Then on Thursday, December 30, Waimea and Kapa‘a will tangle in varsity action, starting at 4 p.m.
The next match will be at Vidinha Stadium on January 6, 2005, as Kaua‘i and Kapa‘a battle it out in varsity only games that start at 4 p.m.
KIF softball will also take a break on Christmas. The season continues on Monday, December 27 in the final games of the first round. Waimea and Kapa‘a will face off at Waimea Canyon Park at 3 p.m. in doubleheader action.
The second round of KIF softball will start up on January 5, 2005 at Kapa‘a Ballpark.
Kapa‘a and Kaua‘i will battle in the second round opener at 5:30 p.m. Kaua‘i has already wrapped up the first round title with a 6-0 mark.
