Jaime Jacinto and Natalie Mata combined for 20 of the their team’s 39 points in a win over Lihu‘e On Fire on Thursday at Kalaheo Gym in girls 14-and-under action. Waimea Boys & Girls Club edged Lihu‘e 39-36. Kierra Barba led Lihu‘e and all scorers with 17 markers.
In game two, Tristen Rosare had the hot hand with 12 points to lead the Lihu‘e Comets over Wailua B. Allyssa Carvalho paced Wailua with eight points.
Nawiliwili Christmas boat parade coming up
Nawiliwili Yacht Club’s 9th Annual Christmas Boat Parade of Lights will take place Sunday, December 19 at Nawiliwili Harbor. The parade will begin around 6:30 p.m. The boats will motor around the commercial harbor, jetty and Kalapaki Bay for approximately one hour conditions permitting. The public is invited to view the parade from either the jetty or harbor area adjacent to the coast guard. Any boats that would like to participate can sign-up at the harbor bulletin board or call Sharon Gibson at 742-2512.
Warrior Golf Challenge
The Kapa‘a High School basketball team is having a benefit golf tournament at the Kaua‘i Lagoons Mokihana Golf Course on Sunday, Dec. 12. Registration is at 7 a.m. with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. A Prime Rib Banquet follows with great entertainment at the Kapa‘a High School Cafeteria.
$75 covers the golf tourney and banquet. It will be an individual low net with Peroria System tournament. Mulligans are two for $10. Closest to pin contest for all par 3’s with a $10 entry.

Kirk Banks tryouts
AYSO Region 941 U16 Boys Kirk Banks Tournament Tryouts will be held at Kapahi Park on Monday, December 20 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The Kirk Banks Tournament is scheduled for March 24-27, 2005 on O‘ahu.
