Hanalei Canoe Club enters marathon
Several members of the Hanalei Canoe Club and their friends are running/walking the Honolulu Marathon on Sunday December 12. They decided they needed a larger goal than a personal best time and some encouragement just to finish. A decision was made to use the opportunity as a fundraiser for the Hanalei Canoe Club Youth Program and for Kauai Easter Seals on behalf of Sophia Hurst. All donations will be shared equally or you may specify whether you would like your donation to support the Hanalei Canoe Club or Kaua‘i Easter Seals. Donations may be a set amount, by the mile or you can have some fun with predicating number of toenails lost, blisters, days not able to walk after the race etc. For more information call 826-4619.
