Universal defeated Hard Knocks, 12-3, behind good pitching from Marvin Mikasa “Is your casa.” Molly “Mcbutter” Faris picked up the loss for Hard Knocks. David “Red” Carveiro (2 singles), Wendell Nonaka (1 single, 1 triple, 1 HR, 3 RBI’s), Scott Ebesu (2 singles, 1 RBI), and Leroy Nonaka (1 single) were hot at the plate for Universal. (Wendall) Nonaka’s HR won the game. Joe Bartucci led Hard Knocks with 2 singles and 1 RBI.
Todd Young got the win for Braddah’s, 13-7 over Hamura’s. Thomas Kim picked up the loss. Didi Ibia (4 singles), Young (2 singles), Sam Dias (2 singles, 1 double, 2 RBI’s), Hank Ibia (3 singles), Dela Dela Cruz (2 singles, 3 RBI’s), and Kimo Tehada (2 singles, 1 RBI) all led Braddah’s at the plate. Dias drove in the winning run. Anday Pungan and Mark Domingcel each had 2 singles for Hamura’s Led by Lambert Alapai, Pahio beat up on the Braddah’s, 17-3 on Tuesday.
Todd Young picked up the loss for the Braddah’s, who had eight players with one hit each. Harry Best played his best for Pahio with 1 single, 1 double, 1 HR, and 6 RBI’s, along with driving in the winning run. Ron Ochoa (2 singles, 1 RBI), Destry Carvalho (2 singles, 1 RBI), Alapai (2 singles, 1 RBI), and Asch Aschenbrenner (2 singles, 1 RBI) all had the right potion in the batter’s box.
Hana Hou edged Universal in game two, 5-1 as Kaluna Manoi drove in the winning run, along with a single and a double. Kelly Robinson led Universal with 2 singles.
Hamura’s was open for business and open for a win over Ikaika, 2-0. Thomas Kim got the win and Glenn Rodero got the loss. Todd Stewart drove in the winning run to go along with a single and a HR. Rolando Augustin and Arnold Rago slapped two singles a piece.
Darrell Borrero hit two singles to lead Ikaika.
