Polly Ann Laura Billedo Kiger of Lihu‘e, died Oct. 22, 2004, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 64.
Born Dec. 27, 1939, in Kapa‘a, she was the customer service manager for Up To Date Cleaners.
She is survived by her husband and best friend, Clifford “Bubba” Kiger of Lihu‘e; mother: Beatrice Rumion Billedo of Kapa‘a; four daughters: Mindi (Robert) Ibia of Lihu‘e, Pattilyne (Terry) Besta of Honolulu, Karalyne Lindsey of Maui and Lee Perry of Seattle, Wash.; sister: Kathlyn (Reynaldo) Quia of Honolulu; brother: Don Matthew (Corrine) of Kapa‘a; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Lihu‘e Chapel. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. followed by burial at the Kapa‘a Public Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Sophie Souza Rapozo
Sophie Souza Rapozo of Lihu‘e, died Oct. 25, 2004, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. Born Aug. 31, 1918, in Kealia, she was a homemaker.
Preceded in death by her brother, Manuel Souza, and sister-in-law, Emily Souza, she is survived by sister Rose Teves of ‘Oma‘o; nephews: Dennis and Warren Souza, both of Honolulu, and Patrick Souza of California.
Celebration of her life service and burial at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery will all be held privately.
Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
