It’s round two at Vidinha Stadium tonight at 7:35 p.m. for the Warriors and Red Raiders.
Although Kaua‘i dominated the game on the scoreboard, 20-2, Kapa‘a was still able to rush for just under 300 yards against a Red Raider defense that has a hard time stopping the run. Kalima Leong (98 yards), Brandon Yadao (59 yards), and Lot Sarsona (56 yards) all had their way against the Raiders.
Kaua‘i runningback Brian Rodriguez was the difference though, with 99 yards on the ground to go with quarterback Kekoa Crowell’s 213 yards through the air. Both teams need to win to keep pace with KIF frontrunner Waimea (2-0).
