KSA’s 2004 fall season opens
When the referees whistles blow at 12:30 pm this Sunday, Sept. 12 at North Vidinha Fields, Kaua‘i Soccer Association (KSA) officially opens their 2004 Fall 7-A-Side Season. Playing on field #1 will be the exciting U-8’s and U-10’s, the action of U-12’s on field #2, and field #3 GU-14’s, BU-16’s and GU-16/18.
In it’s second year, 21 teams will play for 8 weeks in a standing season, then move into playoffs vying to be the two top teams in the respective divisions to play for championship on Nov. 12. Rotating fields from North Vidinha, Kalawai and Wailua Houselots, games are scheduled to start at 12:30 pm every Sunday.
Last year, eleven teams participating in KSA’s Fall Season went on to compete in Mililani’s 7-A-Side Tournament, fully prepared and having a better understanding on how to play this faster moving game. All Kaua‘i teams did an outstanding job with the GU-13 KSC-East bringing home the championship awards. KSA invites and welcomes everyone to come and spend Sundays watching Kaua’is youth play soccer.
