Nancy Lee Sheldon died June 3, 2004, at Queen’s Medical Center at the age of 63.
Born Sept. 11, 1940, she was a bank teller at First Hawaiian Bank.
She is survived by her husband: Thomas “Luby” Sheldon; mother-in-law, Sarah Sheldon; three brothers-in-law: Richard Sheldon, Henry Sheldon and Jimmy Dilwith; and three sisters-in-law: Jeannie Sheldon, Gladys Sheldon and Joy-Ann Dilwith.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 12, at Kapaa First Hawaiian Church. Friends may call at 9 a.m. with service to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Susana Deang Belmonte
Susana Deang Belmonte of Kilauea, died June 7, 2004, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 87.
Born Aug. 10, 1916, in Kilauea, she was a pantry woman for Hanalei Plantation hotel.
She is survived by three daughters: Carol (Dennis) Nagata of Nevada, Mona Belmonte of Kilauea and Debbie Belmonte of Honolulu; and one son: Eugene Belmonte of Kilauea; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services have been scheduled for Friday, June 11, at St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church in Kilauea. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. with Mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at a later date.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Federico Cadiente
Federico Cadiente of Hanama‘ulu died May 30, 2004, at his home at the age of 70.
Born Feb. 22, 1934, in the Philippines, he was a mill operator for McBryde Sugar and also a master sergeant for the Philippines Air Force.
He is survived by his wife: Caridad Ballesteros Cadiente of Hanama‘ulu; three daughters: Erlinda (Prisco) Ancheta of Hanama‘ulu, Gorgonia (Roger) Barr of Florida, and Merlina (Manny) Catbagan of Kapa‘a; seven sons; Andres (Eden) Cadiente of Lihu‘e, Corazon (Elsa) Cadiente of Koloa, Fortunato (Iida) Cadiente of Lawai, Federico Cadiente, Jr. of Kapa‘a, Warlito (Dolly) Cadiente of Hanama‘ulu, Dennis Cadiente of Hanama‘ulu and Robert (Lydia) Cadiente of Lihu‘e; two sisters: Maria (Federico) Bolosan and Eugenia Acob, both of Honolulu; 33 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Friday, June 11, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, June 12, at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. by Father Bill. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
