PO‘IPU — With just one week remaining in the KIF Tennis season, the Kapa‘a Warriors took advantage of the Kaua‘i High School tennis teams with a 5-0 sweep of the boys games and a 4-1 win in the girls games Saturday at the Kiahuna Tennis Courts in Po‘ipu.
The Warriors worked for their wins, as four of the five matches in the boys game went three sets, Justin Vea in the boys first singles enjoying the only two-game set with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Kaua‘i’s Chad Naganuma who was called on to step up in place of Jordan Kukino.
