TCBY gives money for scholarships
Beginning this Thursday, April 15, children ages 5 to 15 will have a chance to create their very own yogurt sundae at the TCBY locations in Wailua and Kapa‘a, name the creation, and possibly see funds for a college scholarship roll in as a result of the creation.
During TCBY’s “Sundae College” contest, children will be able to enter for the chance to create their own sundae. The winning sundae will be sold at all 1,500 TCBY locations from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, and a percentage of the product’s profits will go to the winning student’s college education fund.
TCBY leaders will toss in another $5,000.
Log onto www.tcby.com for contest information, or go to either Kaua‘i TCBY store from April 15 to May 15 to enter the contest.
The winner will be announced in mid-July, and the new sundae along with the child’s name and hometown will be featured on all TCBY menus.
