Kukui‘ula public hearing is Monday
A public hearing on the proposed Kukui‘Ula Development zoning changes is tomorrow, Monday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Koloa School cafeteria.
Members of the County Council Planning Committee have scheduled the hearing.
Deadline set for PBRA meeting
Tomorrow, Monday, March 29 is the reservation deadline for those interested in attending a special meeting of the Poipu Beach Resort Association set for this Wednesday, March 31.
The meeting features speakers from the Kaua‘i Planning Department, talking about proposed developments in the Po‘ipu area, at 4:30 p.m. at the Lawai Beach Resort recreation room. Please call 742-7444 by tomorrow, Monday, March 29, to RSVP, and for more information.
HTA plan update meeting scheduled
The Hawaii Tourism Authority Kaua‘i community meeting to update the state tourism strategic plan is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Tuesday, March 30, in the Ginger Room of the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort near Hanama‘ulu.
Free investment seminars are set
Edward Jones and Rob Lansdell, an investment representative with Edward Jones, invite anyone interested to a free seminar on mutual-fund basics this Tuesday, March 30, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Koloa Missionary Church.
The final free seminar in the series is this Saturday, April 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Koloa Missionary Church. The Tax Relief Act of 2003 is the topic. Classes are free, but space is limited. Please RSVP by calling 742-5177 or 645-0500.
Building expo comes to Lihu‘e
The 12th Annual Building and Remodeling Expo, presented by the Contractors Association of Kaua‘i and First Hawaiian Bank, is Friday, April 16, from 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Kauai Veterans Center on Kapule Highway in Lihu‘e.

Women in Business celebrate a lunch
The Women in Business Roundtable luncheon Friday, April 16 is a special, after-tax-filing-deadline party, at Gaylord’s Restaurant at Kilohana Plantation in Puhi.
