“Relay for Life” tennis registration
The American Cancer Society invites tennis players to take part in their “Relay for Life” Tennis Tournament that will take place at the Hanapepe Tennis Courts between Mar. 23-26 from 6 to 10 p.m.
Tournament format is 8.0 Level (both players have to be rated 4.0), 7.0 Level (both players have to be rated 3.5), and 6.0 Level (both players have to be rated 3.0).
Tournament organizers say you do not have to be a USTA member to participate in this tournament. Any player not having a current USTA rating will get placed accordingly into the best rating category that the tournament committee sees fit.
Scoring will be best two out of three sets regular scoring. The third set will be a Super Tiebreaker (first to 10 points, must win by 2) with play governed by USTA Rules and Guidelines.
The deadline to enter the tournament is Mar. 20 at 5 p.m.
The cost is $20 per team with all the proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society.

Majors signups
The Kawaihau Community Little League is now accepting applications for players and coaches for its upcoming Majors season.
Players, aged between 10 and 12 years old, born between August, 1991 through July, 1994 are eligible for the program.
Application forms may be picked up at Pono Market in Kapa‘a.

H.S.F/YMCA Surf contest starts April 3
The H.S.F./YMCA 2003-04 Contest #4 will be held at the Kealia Beach Break on Apr. 3-4 sponsored by Deja Vu/Split.
Contest format will feature six-man heats for 15 minutes with the best two rides scored out of six waves.
Finals will feature six-man heats for 15 minutes with the best two rides scored out of eight waves.
Divisions include Menehune 11-Under, Boys 12-14, Junior Men 15-17, Open Men 18-24, Girls 17-Under, Boys Body Board 14-Under, and Junior Body Board 15-17.
