Three Kaua‘i Police Department officers, all with at least seven years of service, were promoted to sergeant and honored in a ceremony Monday. Vicki Fonoimoana, Eric Kaui and Kenneth Carvalho were recognized for their promotions, and received their sergeant badges.
Three Kaua‘i Police Department officers, all with at least seven years of service, were promoted to sergeant and honored in a ceremony Monday.
Vicki Fonoimoana, Eric Kaui and Kenneth Carvalho were recognized for their promotions, and received their sergeant badges.
Fonoimoana, a Kekaha resident, has been on the KPD force for over seven years. Formerly with the Honolulu Police Department, she has 15 years of police service in Hawai‘i.
Carvalho, of Lihu‘e, has been with KPD for over nine years, and Kaui, a Kapa‘a resident, has served 17 years with the KPD.
The promotions were effective Sunday, Feb. 1.
