The third victim of Saturday morning’s one-car accident on Po‘ipu Road remains in critical condition at an O‘ahu hospital, county sources said.
Adam Frazier, 21, of Po‘ipu, has been in and out of consciousness at Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, according to police sources and Cyndi Mei Ozaki, county public information officer.
The other two victims in the accident, Tyson Pagador, 22, of Koloa, and a 17-year-old girl from Kekaha, died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident, where the 1995 Honda sedan they were traveling eastbound in crossed over the center line and hit a tree.
All three were employees of the Plantation Gardens Restaurant in Po‘ipu.
“As of (yesterday) morning, his condition hasn’t changed,” said Ozaki of Frazier. “According to KPD Traffic Safety Bureau, he is in and out of consciousness.”
While there have been reports that one of the men was driving, Ozaki said the KPD Traffic Safety Bureau’s investigation has shown so far that the 17-year-old girl was behind the wheel.
The investigation is ongoing, she said.
