Isidro M. Habagat
Isidro M. Habagat, of Puhi, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 17, 2004 at the age of 73. Born in the old Puhi Camp on May 26, 1930. He was a retired welder in California and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his nephew/caregiver, Marvin Barcial of Lihu‘e; two brothers, Angelo Habagat of Puhi and Tony (Dora) Habagat of Koloa; sister, Sarah (Larry) Vito of California; numerous nieces and nephews. Private services were held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery on Jan. 23, 2004. Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Kamalei Kamanu‘onalani Akau-Pulawa, infant, of Kapa‘a, died Jan. 21, 2004 in Honolulu.
Born in Honolulu on Jan. 5, 2004, he is survived by his mother, Chantel Akau; father, Keoki Pulawa; and grandfather, Stanley Akau. Private services will be held.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Mortuary.
