The annual meeting of the Kauai Rural Health Association is tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 29 at 5 p.m. in the Kaua’i Community College fine dining room.
The theme for the annual meeting is “Health Resources on Kaua’i: Changes and Updates,” and the meeting is free and open to the public.
The program includes:
- Recognition of the primary care consortium;
- Jan Shoultz, “Quentin-Burdick program;”
- Dr. Lee Evslin, president and chief executive officer of Wilcox Health, who will talk about new developments at the hospital and clinic in a short presentation entitled “The Voyage to Transformation;”
- David Peters, executive director of Ho’ola Lahui Hawai’i, who will be discussing what’s new at Ho’ola and the new community health center and its services in Kapa’a, in his talk, “Ho’ola 2004;”
- Election of officers.
Reservations are not required, but members and non-members are encouraged to come early for good seats. Refreshments will be served.
