Morrison joins office
RE/MAX Kauai is pleased to announce that Barbara Morrison has joined its Po’ipu-Koloa office as a REALTOR-Associate.
A native of the Philippines, Barbara Morrison attended Philippine Women’s University in Manila and Silliman University in Negros. After moving to California, Barbara met and married her ‘prince’ and husband of 38 years, John Morrison (a landscape contractor). They have three children and three grandchildren.
Previous experience includes Bank of America (Alhambra – real estate loan service center) and Sun Trips Hawaii in Silicon Valley. Locally, Barbara is a court interpreter, both circuit and district courts, in the Visayan and Tagalog languages.
Tomacder earns honor
Stella Tomacder, a realtor with Kauai Realty, Inc., has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.
Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate.
Only 35,000 realtors nationwide earned the credential.
Cold Stone launches new ice cream
Cold Stone Creamery will now offer “Sinless Ice Cream,” a new fat-free, no sugar added option for those who “insist on nothing less than the ultimate indulgence in ice cream.”
Sinless became available in stores across the nation and in Kaua’i on Wednesday.
“People who love ice cream shouldn’t have to compromise taste in exchange for less sugar or fat,” said store owner Barbie Taylor.
“Cold Stone Creamery came up with a recipe with the freshness and quality people have come to expect from our ice cream, without the bland taste that is sometimes associated with lower calorie foods.”
Starwood raises funds
Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii announced on Tuesday their efforts in 2003 raised more than $132,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
More than $91,000 were contributions raised by employees of the 13 Starwood Hawaii Hotels, for the local JDRF Walk held in November.
RBC Mortgage opens
The RBC Mortgage Company has opened at 4370 Kukui Grove, Suite 110.
The company is new here on Kaua’i and Stacie L. Inciong is the Branch Manager and Senior Loan Officer.
