Hubbard makes it to quarterfinals
Kaua’i’s Jeff Hubbard, ranked Number 3 following the 2003 season, was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Rockstar Games Pipeline Pro held over the weekend at the Banzai Pipeline on O’ahu.
Hubbard was the only Haawai’i competitor with a shot at the world title at tthe event that saw Australian Damian King go one to take the event in wind-blown four to eight-foot waves.
Second plae was taken by Hawaai’i’s Spencer Skipper with Rui Ferreira of Portugal in third place.

The Waimea High School athletic department is currently accepting applications for a boys tennis coach for the 2004 KIF tennis season.
