In what’s a good sign for scholastic achievement at Kaua’i High School, the school’s National Honor Society membership of ten grew to 25 last week when new members were inducted.
Membership in the club helps students with placement when they apply for college, and gives a boost to the learning environment at the public high school.
Those inducted into the club include: Seniors – Chino Cabalteja, Tiana Caylor, Amy Hutchinson, Ben Kimura, Chase LaMadrid-Engel, Vanessa Machado, Darren Shimanuki, Shauna Tachibana, Lance Tanaka; Juniors – Taren Fujimoto, Claire Hirota, Todd Kane, Jordan Kukino, Cedric Macadangdang, Chad Naganuma, Avian Nakaya, Lance Okasaki, Alex Sirois, Shelcie Takenouchi, Kristin Tone, Parris Zina; and Sophomores – Jacey Ageno, Kassy Morishige, Meylssa Motilla, and Rachael Taira.
