Correction — KIF soccer schedule
After confirming with Diane Nitta of the Kauai Interscholastic Federation, the following starting times for KIF soccer is in effect for Saturday and Thursday games:
Saturday games start no earlier than 1 p.m., 2:45 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
Thursday games that feature only varsity games begin no earlier than 5 and 7 p.m.
Additionally, the playoff games for girls moves from Jan. 29 to Feb. 4.
Kawaihau Little League minors signups underway
The Kawaihau Little League is now accepting applications for coaches and players for the upcoming minors season.
Players must be born between August 1992 through July 1995. Applications for players can be picked up at Pono Market, The Kapa’a Boys and Girls Clubhouse, Whalers General Store in Anahola and Kilauea School.
Applications can be submitted Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kawaihau Little League Food Booth, located across the Kapa’a Armory, every week until Dec. 20.
The registration fee is $40 per player. If you have any questions you may call and leave a message at the food booth, 822-0885.
Koloa YBA pitch t-ball registration ends today
The last day to sign up for Koloa Youth Baseball Association Pitch T-Ball is today, Dec. 4, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Koloa Ball Park.
Boys 6 to 10 years old in 2004 and girls 7 to 11 years old in 2004 are encouraged to participate.
Applicants must provide a copy of their birth certificate, proof of medical insurance and pay the $35 registration fee and $5 membership fee, before a child will be allowed to participate.
The first day of practice is Monday, Dec. 8 at 4 :30 p.m.
Players should have a cap, glove, shoes, baseball pants, jacket, cup/supporter for boys and a bat if available.

PGA Grand Slam of Golf broadcast schedule
The first and second rounds of the 2003 Grand Slam of Golf will be broadcast on TNT, locally available on channel 43.
The first round will be televised Friday, Dec. 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The second round is Saturday, Dec. 6, starting at 11 a.m.
Junior Tennis Jamboree Saturday at Kiahuna
All juniors aged 6 through 12 years old are invited to a free tennis clinic at Kiahuna Tennis Club on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 1 to 4 p.m.
This fun day for the keiki is being sponsored by Kiahuna Tennis Club in partnership with the Kaua’i District Tennis Association.
