Nicholas Bruce Dettman of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 26, 2003 at the age of 60.
Born in Los Angeles, Calif., on May 20, 1943, he was a Captain with Delta Airlines.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; two daughters, Jill (Tim) Pembrook of Kalaheo and Gaylyn (Curt) Haas of San Clemente, Calif.; grandsons, Jacob Pembrook and Phillip Pembrook, both of Kalaheo; Caleb Haas, Noah Haas and Christian Haas of San Clemente, Calif.; granddaughter, Faith Haas of San Clemente, Calif.
Funeral service has been scheduled at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, at Kalaheo Missionary Church, with service officiated by Rev. Butch Kahawai and Rev. David Hocking. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
