Kauai Veterans Council pickup drawing winner announced

The key to a new Mazda pickup truck was awarded Friday afternoon to Merlin Cummings. Cummings was announced as the winner of the Kauai Veterans Council’s fund-raiser held during the Veterans Day festivities held at the Kapa‘a Beach Park last

Cummings purchased a single ticket for the truck drawing and said that’s all that’s needed to win. Veterans sold tickets over the past several months at Wal-Mart on weekends, the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau Fair, during the Coconut Festival, and at the Veterans Day parade in Kapa‘a.
