Mike Soong 11, Hard Knocks 1
Sia Salausa finished with three RBIs on a triple and a single to lead Mike Soong to their 11-1 win over Hard Knocks.
Adding to the tally were Tom Kim and Ron Garlie, each batter driving in an RBI on a pair of singles. Dana Palama finished the night with three singles and Frank Bukoski added a pair of singles in the victory.
Leonard Vegas, Jr. led Hard Knocks with an RBI on a triple and a single to lead the stable that saw three batters each tally a hit in the loss.
Dave Onodera suffered the loss with 16 hits allowed on three walks while Mel Lorenzo picked up the win with five hits allowed.
Hana Hou 5, Pahio 2
Siege Mercado led Hana Hou with two RBI’s on a single in their 5 – 2 win over Pahio with Dean Pigao adding an RBI on a pair of singles in the county’s 35-and-over softball played Tuesday night at Isenberg Park.
Al Aranio rounded out the Hana Hou bats with a pair of one-baggers with seven Hana Hou batter each chalking up a hit apiece in the win.
Rich Brian led the Pahio bats with an RBI on a pair of singles and John Kahuanaele adding a pair of singles in the loss that saw six Pahio batter each notch a hit each.
Paris Resinto picked up the win for Hana Hou with ten hits allow while Wayne Laranio suffered the loss on 11 hits with two walks allowed.
Braddahs 6, Ikaika 3
Bobby Texeira had two RBIs on two singles including the go-ahead run as Braddahs downed Ikaika 6 – 3. Lance Higashi drove in an RBI on three singles, Todd Young had an RBI on a pair of singles, and DD Ibia finished with a pair of singles in the win.
Ikaika had six batters with a hit apiece in the loss suffered by Philip Rodero who allowed 14 hits.
Young picked up the win on six hits allowed with a walk.
Young Blood 11, Universal Delivery 10
Victor Sasaki sacrificed to left, driving in the winning run as Young Blood moved ahead of Universal Delivery 11 – 10.
Bully Balocan and Dickie Koerte each notched an RBI on a pair of singles to lead the Young Blood hitting that saw Darrell Borero finish with a pair of singles, and six Young Blood batters notching a hit each.
Steve Mardonado finished with four RBIs on a triple and a single to lead Universal while Scott Ebesu added a pair of RBIs on two singles.
Kent Tada and Ronnie Matsumura each finished with an RBI on three singles each with Lance Nakata rounding out the effort with a pair of singles.
Sandy Pacheco picked up the win, allowing 18 hits on a walk while Mardonado suffered the loss, allowing 13 hits with a walk and a strikeout.
