Hilo Hattie kicks off anniversary
O‘AHU — Hilo Hattie celebrates 40 years of Aloha with an in-store anniversary sale that began Oct. 17 and runs through Nov. 2. Adding to the celebratory events will be the “Hilo Hattie $40,000 Giveaway Sweepstakes” featuring $40,000 worth of Hilo Hattie labeled fashions.
Beginning on Sept. 1 through Dec. 31, visitors and residents can enter to win the “Hilo Hattie $40,000 Giveaway Sweepstakes” at any Hilo Hattie store or online at HiloHattie.com. The winner will receive $4,000 worth of Hilo Hattie labeled fashions each year for 10 years, for a grand total of $40,000 in Hilo Hattie labeled garments. The winner will be announced on Friday, January 9, 2004.
During the in-store anniversary sale from Oct. 17 through Nov. 2, customers will enjoy numerous discounts such as “50 percent off selected prints” and “buy one Hilo Hattie labeled adult garment and receive the second at 50 percent off.”
Shoppers will also delight in a nostalgic throwback to 1963, the year the company was established. For the first time ever, items will be on sale with prices starting at $19.63, including Hilo Hattie’s most popular print, selected men’s Bamboo Cay garments, selected women’s knit Banana Bay garments and Hawaiian Host and Hilo Hattie candy packs.
