Thomas J. Vidinha, Sr.
Thomas J. Vidinha, Sr., of Kalaheo, died at Regional Hospital in Seattle, Wash., on Sept. 30, 2003 at the age of 63.
Born in Makaweli on Nov. 6, 1939, he was owner and operator of Tommy’s Crane Service, Inc.
Preceded in death by father, Marion “Lumpy” Vidinha and mother, Helen Correa Vidinha.
He is survived by wife, Carol; son, Thomas Vidinha Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters, Jonette Vidinha of Vancouver, Wash. and Josette James of Newport News, Va.; three grandchildren, Jordan Heup-Vidinha of Vancouver, Wash., Keely James and Christopher-Thomas James both of Newport News, Va; two sisters, Lydia Carveiro and Joyce Abreu both of Kalaheo; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo; service to begin at 11 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested.
Local arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Constantino Ceda
Constantino Ceda of ‘Oma‘o, died at his residence on Oct. 6, 2003 at the age of 75.
Born in Kaua‘i on Feb. 14, 1928, he was a sewage treatment plant worker.
Preceded in death by two brothers, James Stacko and Lawrence Rendongo. He is survived by his wife, Consolation “Connie” Lopez Ceda of Koloa; daughter, Colleen Ceda of Hanama‘ulu; four sons, Colin Ceda of Koloa, Jon Ceda of Koloa, Corey (Malia) Ceda of Koloa, Darryl Pasatiempo of California; brother, William Redongo of California, two sisters, Leonora Kouchi of Makaweli, Kathrine (Joseph) Fraticelli of O‘ahu; sister-in-law, Elizabeth “Liz” Redongo of Koloa; one grand-daughter, Leilynn Ceda-Nunes; three grandsons, Jon Meguro Ceda, Micah Meguro Ceda, Iokua Ceda, numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 – 10:45 a.m. where memorial services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Aloha attire is suggested.
