Dianne June Allen McCusker formally known as (Dianne Mundon) died at the Great Western Hospital, Swindon, Wiltshire on May 7, 2003 at the age of 63.
Born in London England on June 19, 1939. Dianne lived on Kauai for 25 plus years before moving back to London.
She is survived by three sons: Bobby Mundon of Honolulu, John (Diane) Mundon of Kapaa, Lawrence (Shanlyn) Mundon of Kapaa; daughter, Michelle (Matthew) Vidinha of Hilo; three sisters, Pam (Jim) Rogers, Sheila Cronin, Barbara Allen all of London England, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, June 8, 4 p.m. at the Kapaa First Hawaiian Church. Scattering of ashes will be held on Monday, June 9 by her children. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
Alejandro Aquino Jr.
Alejandro “Sonny” Aquino, Jr. of Kekaha, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on May 26, 2003 at the age of 59.
Born in Waimea, on April 30, 1944, he was a Ordinance Technician with Dyna Electron Corp.
He is survived by wife, Karin; two sons, James Sr., of California and Jason (Pua) of Kalaheo; daughter, Stacy (Joey) Aquino-Bagain of Kekaha; three sisters, Angaline Napulou of Oahu, Rosita (Dave) Sanders of Texas, and Janet (Jim) Scobell of Illinois; hanai sister, Janet (Clyde) Cox of Hanapepe; 12 grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, at St. Theresa Catholic Church; Mass officiated by Father Larry will begin at 11 a.m. Aloha attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Ruth Kurisu Crews
Ruth Kurisu Crews of Phoenix, Ariz. and formerly of Kauai, died May 4, 2003, at the age of 78.
Born May 25, 1924, in Nawiliwili, she lived in Petaluma, Calif. until four years ago when she moved to Phoenix.
An avid gardener, she was an active member of the Episcopalian Church. One of her proudest achievements was graduating from Sonoma State University with a degree in Library Science at the age of 64.
She is survived by three sons: Kenny of Santa Rosa, Calif.; Jim of Kapaa, HI; and Rich of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren, Richard and Miranda, also of Phoenix.
Services will be held on Kauai at a later date.
Henry Kanoho
Henry Pritchard “JR” Kanoho of Anahola, died at Kaiser Hospital on June 2, 2003 at the age of 57.
Born in Lihue on December 5, 1945, he was a retired Kapaa High School Security Officer.
He is survived by his wife: Robynne Darlene Kanoho; daughter, Debra (Norman) Bonilla of Anahola; three sons: Rawlin (Cheri Alamani) Kanoho of Anahola, Henry (Becky) Kanoho Jr. of Elgin, Oregon; Burl (Venus) Kanoho of Anahola; three brothers, Steven (Claudia) Kanoho of Kaneohe, Rawlin “Makalapua” Kanoho of Hanapepe, Harry Kanoho of Nawiliwili; seven sisters, Ruth (Joseph) Goo of Lihue, Eloise (Eddie) Taniguchi Jr. of Makaweli, Leilani (Stanley) Suenaga of Nawiliwili, Eldean “Ipo” Diggs of Makaweli, Noelani Ornellas of Anahola, Iwalani Soares of Lihue, Jacqueline “Manu” (Greg) Figueria of Pukalani, Maui; sister-in-law, Anna Kanoho of Kalaheo, 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 7, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. where services will be followed. Cremation to follow. Casual attire is suggested.

Alfonso Martin
Alfonso F. “Sonny” Martin of Kalaheo, died at Straub Clinic and Hospital, on May 31, 2003, at the age of 77.
Born in Kalaheo on April 3, 1926, he was a tug boat captain.
He is preceded in death by his son Ronald Martin. He is survived by his wife, Helen Martin, five children, Phyllis (Mac) Andrade, Valerie (Ronald) Perreira, Wayne (Piilani) Martin, Marilyn Martin, Aileen (Jim) Endicott; brother, Tony (Mary Lou) Martin; three sisters, Frances (John) Luy, Helen (Alfred) Ferreira, Barbara (Louise) Souza, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, June 7, at Holy Cross Church from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Father Keahi. Inurnment will be held on a latter date. Flowers omitted.
