A&B foundation funds KCC scholarships, program development

Kauai Community College provost Peggy Cha received $10,000 Thursday from the Alexander & Baldwin Foundation.

At a lunchtime presentation, Cha announced that Trinette Kaui of the A&B Foundation will be serving on the Kauai Community College Fund Board during academic year 2003-2004.

The funds are to be used to provide scholarships for students at Kauai Community College, as well as funding programs at the college located in Puhi.

Alexander & Baldwin’s operations on Kauai currently include the development of a residential community at Koloa.
