Wade Lord has joined CB Richard Ellis Hawaii, Inc. (CBRE Hawaii) as vice president for consulting services, and will continue as general manager of Kukui Grove Center for CBRE Hawaii.

In addition to managing Kukui Grove and Kukui Grove Commercial Villages, Lord will also handle CBRE Hawaii brokerage and consulting assignments.

Lord’s background includes shopping-center development, management, marketing and leasing. Prior to joining CBRE Hawaii, he was the general manager of Kukui Grove for another real estate firm, where he was on the redevelopment team for Kukui Grove and Parker Ranch Center in Kamuela on the Big Island.
He was also project director for Kauai Village in Waipouli, where he was responsible for management, leasing and marketing. Experienced in development of financial analysis, conceptual design, project management, tenant mix and relations, Lord is also versed in community relations, promotions and advertising.
He has represented Grove Farm Properties, Parker Ranch, Kauai Village Associates, Olohena Partners, state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, Anahola Homesteaders Council, Grace Development and Fantastic Sams, and manages a portfolio of over 600,000 square feet of retail space across the state.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Chico State University in Chico, Calif., and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Retail Merchants of Hawaii, Lihue Business Association, Kapaa Business Association and Kauai Chamber of Commerce.
A resident of Wailua Homesteads, Lord is president-elect of the Rotary Club of Kapaa. Born in Olongopo, Philippines, he is married to Kimberly Lord.
