Owners and operators of MartMan Records and Studio, home to a digital, full-service, multi-track recording studio and much more, announced grand-opening festivities this Friday and Saturday, May 9 and 10, in the Puhi Building along Kaumuali’i Highway.
The two-day celebration is noon to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Martin and Lynne Funderburk are owners and operators, and Martin Funderburk is a recording engineer and musician who will perform at the grand opening.
Prizes to be given away include a radio-jingle package worth $750, gift certificates, other merchandise prizes, and more. Food, balloons and other treats will be provided. Bliss the Amazing Jumping Yorkie Dog will greet all comers.
Located on the second floor of the Puhi Building next to Paradise Seafood and Grill and across the highway from Kaua’i Community College, MartMan Studio is equipped for audio needs from simple voice-overs to complex musical CD projects.
MartMan Studio is owned and operated by Martin and Lynne Funderburk.
Martin Funderburk has performed with Della Reese, O.C. Smith, Dan Fogelberg, and opened for The Beach Boys, and has an extensive engineering background as well. He is available for studio engineering work, and available for hire as a musician.
The studio’s technology is portable, and the Funderburks are willing to travel to the concert or public-speaking venue of the customers’ choice. Back in the studio, digital audio editing, maximizing and mastering takes place.
Radio Jingles Production Services is another segment of the couple’s business, allowing customers to get information about products and services onto local radio stations. Jingle packages start as low as $795.
