Alan Masaki earned top honors in the Men’s Singles Open Division at the first annual Hawaii State Racquetball Championships held at the Kaua’i Athletic Club last weekend.
Over 85 competitors took part in the three-day event. Players from Kaua’i and around the state as well as California and as far east as Georgia took part in the tournament.
Thirty-three Kaua’i athletes placed in the 10 singles divisions while three local teams performed well in the four doubles events.
