Following a week of intense media speculation, Entertainment Tonight broke open on Friday night the secret of the mystery North Shore wedding.
No, it’s not actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
This weekend’s groom and bride are—Matt LeBlanc of “Friends” TV fame and his girlfriend, model Melissa McKnight.
The national cable TV show featured scenes from a site above Anini Beach where the nuptials are expected to take place this weekend.
LeBlanc became the front-runner in the wedding race late this week, beating out the red-hot rumor of an Affleck and Lopez wedding that focused national media attention on the North Shore.
A gossip column mention in a Honolulu newspaper stirred up the fire under the Affleck-Lopez rumors in Hawai’i.
Further boosting the certainty that LeBlanc is the lucky man were several firm sightings this week of “Friends” co-star David Schwimmer in Hanalei town, plus a sighting of actor Brad Pitt (husband of Jennifer Aniston, another co-star of “Friends” ) at Hanalei Pier on Friday.
Meanwhile, Matthew Perry of “Friends” can’t make it to the North Shore this weekend, he’s in London.
“Friends” cast members welcomed in the year 2000 on the North Shore at a party held at a Hanalei Bay home on New Year’s Eve 1999.
To top this off, yet another rumor is now circulating. No, not the possible Harrison Ford wedding, but that actress Gwyneth Paltrow will also be tying the knot on the North Shore soon.
