Surf meet set at PK’s
The Hawaiian Surfing Federation and the YMCA of Kaua’i has scheduled the last event of their surf meet season.
The contest is set for the PK’s surfbreak at Po’ipu on Saturday May 3 and Sunday May 4.
Both board surfing and bodyboarding events will be held.
The contest is being sponsored by Nukumoi Surf Company.
Competitors are attempting to qualify to represent Kaua’i in the HSF State Invitationals to be held at the Ala Moana Bowl in Honolulu on June 6-8.
Finalists in the state meet go to the U.S. amateur championships in California this summer.
