The Lihu’e Branch of Central Pacific Bank generously gave a $2000 donation to the YWCA of Kaua’i to become the title sponsor of the 2nd annual charity golf tournament.
This donation will support the many programs run by the YWCA of Kaua’i for abused women and children.
Come join the fun on Sunday April 6th and play on the beautiful Mokihana course at the Kaua’i Lagoons. Sign in is at 7 a.m. with a shotgun at 8 .a.m. The registration deadline is March 28.
The entry fee is $85 per player, which includes green fees, golf cart and the awards luncheon.
Mulligans will be available for purchase at registration.
The maximum handicap is 20 percent of combined team handicap with a max of 32 for women and 26 for men.
Registration forms are available at the following courses: Mokihana Course at the Kaua’i Lagoons, Princeville, Kiahuna, Po’ipu Bay, and Wailua Golf Course.
Forms are also available at the YWCA of Kaua’i office located at 3094 Elua Street in Lihu’e.
Registrations can be faxed to 245-5961 and payment can be made over the phone with a Mastercard or Visa.
The YWCA of Kaua’i is asking business and the professional community to assist them in their endeavor by becoming tee sponsors or by donating prizes.
Each tee can be sponsored for $100.
For a donation, a display sign will acknowledge your support of the YWCA’s many programs that assist abused women and children.
These programs include Sexual Assault Treatment program that provides 24-hour crisis intervention, individual and group counseling to victims of sexual assault and their families.
The Family Violence Shelter offers safety and services to women and children who suffer form the affects of domestic violence.
The goal of the Alternatives to Violence program is to help create a safe environment for victims of family violence and to provide a means for batterers to start on a path of changing their violent behaviors.
The Sex Offender Treatment program works with court referred juvenile and adult sex offenders who are in need of treatment.
The Sex Abuse Treatment Services provides counseling to families where intra familiar sex abuse has occurred.
Camp Sloggett located in Koke’e provides a restful space and play for church, school groups, and large and small family groups.
