Police seek leads in Waipouli burglary

Kaua’i Police Department officers are seeking the public’s help in providing any information anyone might have about a crime that took place over three months ago.

On Oct. 10 or 11, during the night hours, a storage shed was broken into at the Hawaiian Riders LLC (Limited Liability Company) vehicle-rental lot in Waipouli.

A 2002 silver Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle was stolen from the shed. Hawaiian Riders is located across Kuhio Highway from Waipouli Town Center, which houses McDonald’s, Foodland, Pizza Hut and other businesses.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the case to call Crime Stoppers, 241-1887, or Det. Bobby Castro, 241-1689.
