Irene Kuulei Kealoha of Lihu’e died at home on Jan. 12, 2003, at the age of 52.

Born in Niumalu, Kaua’i, on Aug. 17, 1950, she was an accountant.

She is survived by her mother: Sarah Kamealoha Kamakea; one hanai son, Kalanikehaohale Cox; four brothers: George Jr. Rivera; Felecito Rivera, Wayne Kamakea, and Ronald “Squeaky” (Elaine) Kealoha; three sisters: Ruby Rellin, Fanny (Damen) Gonsalves, and Ulu (Baba) Hookano; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the home of her sister, Fanny Gonsalves, 3048 Puanani St., in Lihue, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26; followed by a reception. The family suggests casual attire.
