Lihue Baseball League holding registration for 2003 season
Lihue Baseball League will be holding registration for the 2003 Mustang, Bronco & Pony Seasons on Monday, Jan. 13 thru Friday, Jan. 17, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Lihue County Park (Behind the old Dairy Maid), in the officials booth.
All players are required to bring one (1) copy of their birth certificate and medical insurance cards. The ages requirements for each division are: Mustang 9-10; Bronco 11-12; Pony 13-14.

20th Annual Keiki Fun Run takes place Jan.18
The 20th Annual Keiki Fun Run will take place Jan. 18 at 8 a.m. on the Kilohana Grounds. The Fun Run, which in its two decades in running has provided an active and fun environment for the children of Kaua’i, consists of a one-mile (ages 1-10) and two-mile (ages 11-16) run, each on grass and supervised along the route for maximum safety. Adults can accompany young children in the race. Race t-shirts will be given to runners along with refreshments and first and second place ribbons for all age groups. All runners receive a sports prize and will be entered in a drawing for two bicycles. Call the YMCA at 246-9090 for entry forms. Register early at 7:30 a.m.

Captain’s meeting set for Mixed League tennis teams
A captain’s meeting for all Mixed League teams will be held on January 18, 2003 at 1pm at Ala Lani Spa and Tennis Club. Team rosters will be submitted and match schedules will be determined. Mixed league season begins from February 1, 2003 thru April 13, 2003 and Sectionals will be held on May 17-18, 2003 on Kauai.
