Voters need to bring photo identification to polls

The County’s Elections Division is asking that voters bring picture identification to polls open for the 2nd Congressional District election set for Saturday.

Acceptable identification include: a Hawai’i drivers license, Hawai’i identification card, military identification card, valid U.S. passport.

Poll workers won’t accept as valid identification a social security card, nor the postcard sent out to notify voters of the election.

The identity of voters with no identification will need to be confirmed by a precinct official.

For more information call the Elections Division at 241-6350.
