Kapa’a tourney starts today

KAPA’A – The Kapa’a Warriors will host the second basketball tournament of the 2002 season today through Saturday at Bernice Hundley Gymnasium in Kapa’a.

The Warriors will host Kaua’i Interscholastic Federation teams Waimea and Kaua’i and two off-island schools – Assets School and Academy of the Pacific School. The Warriors will also feature a “B” team to round out a six-team tournament.

The best win-loss record will determine the champion of the tournament. In the case of a tie, teams will be judged by head to head results, most points scored and fewest fouls in a game.

Games will be played according to the National Federation High School Rules.
