Body found in Maha’ulepu area

A body believed to be that of John Harrington, a man missing since November 20, was found in the Maha’ulepu area. Positive identification of the deceased is pending and the cause of death is still unknown.

Fifty-five year-old John Harrington, an ARC client who was mentally disabled, was last seen on November 20 at 3:30 p.m. at Po’ipu Beach Park where he and his caretaker were eating lunch. After lunch, Harrington went for a walk and never returned.

Both cases are still under investigation.
