Police seeking information on Kalalau fugitive

The Kauai Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in locating Todd Richard Goetz, also known as “T” or “Uncle T”.

Goetz was arrested under the name of David Tucker on November 18 for concealment of a corpse, after he admittedly buried the newborn infant given birth by his girlfriend, Maria Alexander-Hahn. Goetz told police the baby was stillborn, so he buried it somewhere in Kalalau Valley.

At the time of his arrest, Goetz told police his name was David Tucker and he could not provide any form of identification to verify his identification.

Goetz was released and was scheduled to appear in court on November 19, however he failed to show up. The police learned of Goetz’ true identity by matching of his fingerprints with his prior arrests on the Big Island and the mainland.

A bench warrant was issued for Goetz’ arrest for contempt of court. Goetz is believed to be in the company of his girlfriend, Maria Alexander-Hahn.
