Mariano Razos

Mariano Razos of Kilauea, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 23, 2002 at the age of 83.

Born in Philippines on June 28, 1919, he was a Laborer with Kilauea Guava Plantation Agronomic.

He is survived by wife, Filomena; son, Hipolito (Florie) Razos of Kilauea; three daughters, Rosita Razos of Kilauea, Carmelita Razos of Philippines and Leonarda Billwayen of Kilauea; two brothers, Donicio Razos and Ricardo (Lucresia) Razos both of the Philippines; 5 grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friend may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Kilauea; mass officiated by Father Bruce will begin at 11 a.m. Followed by burial at Kilauea Catholic Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Evelyn Baniaga

Evelyn “Suku” Kehaulani Sui Lun Baniaga, of Kaumakani, Kauai, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on Nov. 25, 2002 at the age of 46.

Born in Waimea, Kauai on May 16, 1956, she was a Clerk with Gay & Robinson.

She is survived by husband, Pedro Patrick Baniaga; sons, Pedryn Sanoe Baniaga and Patrick Apolonio Baniaga; grand-daughter: Sum Yee; father, Antonio “Tony” Wong; three brothers, Anthony Wong of Las Vegas, NV., Byron (Joveen) Wong of Waimea, Kauai and Chadwick (Betsy) Wong of Waimea, Kauai; four sisters, Antoinette (Larry) Daos of Oahu, Charmaine Manuel of Waimea, Kauai, Walnita (Fred) Aviguetero of Waimea, Kauai and Jacqualine (Gerald) Carter of Elk Grove, CA.; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kekaha Ward; service to begin at 12 noon. Followed by burial at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
