Kaua’i voters in the special elections set for Saturday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 4 will receive a postcard notifying them of where to vote. A number of polling places open for the general election on Nov. 5 are being consolidated.
Only registered voters in the second congressional district of Hawa’i may vote in the two special elections.
Voters in the 14th House District will be voting at Kilauea Neighborhood Center, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa’a and at Kapa’a Middle School. Those living in the 15th House District will vote at Kapa’a Middle School, Kaua’i High School and at the Koloa Neighborhood Center. On the Westside in voters in the 16th House District voters will go to Koloa Neighborhood Center, Kalaheo Elementary School, Eleele School, Waimea Neighborhood Center and at Ni’ihau School.

Today is the last day to file an absentee application by mail for the special election set for Nov. 30. Ballots are available at public libraries and post offices. Voters may also write “both special elections” under Section 1 of the form to request ballots for both special elections.
