HSF surf contest #2 heads to Polihale Beach Park this weekend

POLIHALE – Grab your boards and head west.

The Hawaiian Surfing Federation will be holding its second contest of the season at Polihale Beach Park Nov. 23-24.

The contest from last weekend was postponed due to less-than-fair conditions.

The contest will include Bodyboarding and Surfing divisions. Bodyboarding divisions include 14-under, 15-17, 18-over and Drop Knee Open.

Surfing divisions include 11-under, 12-14, 15-17, 18-24 and 4-A Men’s Open.

There will also be a girl’s bracket for ages 17-under.

Start time is 8 a.m., starting with bodyboarding. Surfing check-in is 9:45 a.m.
