Evelyn Kaeo of Lihu’e, Kaua’i, died at her home on Nov. 14, 2002, at the age of 69.
A retired GTE Hawaiian Tel phone operator, she was born May 6, 1933, in Kapa’a, Kaua’i.
She is survived by one son: Tracy Cummings of Lihu’e; grandchildren: Kandice, Kristen, Kara Lei, Jordan Po’okela Cummings; one sister: Grace (Thomas) Tokioka; one brother: Abraham “Bra” Cummings, and sister-in-law Janice Cummings.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Kapa’a First Hawaiian Church from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where services will be conducted at 10 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire and asks that flowers be omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
Helen Morgan
Helen Morgan of Kapaa, Kauai, died at her residence in Kapaa, on Nov. 8, 2002 at the age of 87.
Born in Hawaii on June 11, 1915, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters: Carolyn Morgan of Kapaa; Nancy (Skip) Schaefer of California; Sally (Don) Brecht of Washington; one son: Albert “Al” (Marjorie) Morgan, Jr. of Honolulu; one sister: Flora Carvalho of Lihue; two brothers: William (Cecelia) Farias of Wailua; Anthony Farias of Honolulu; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Monday, Nov. 18, at St. Catherines Church in Kapaa at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Kimie Nakazawa
Kimie Nakazawa of Kilauea, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 13, 2002, at the age of 85.
Born in San Francisco, Calif., on Nov. 20, 1916, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Edward (Nelia) Nakazawa of Kilauea, John (Faith) Nakazawa of Kilauea, Ronald (Jennifer) Nakazawa of Kilauea and Harold (Pat) Nakazawa of Calif.; three daughters, Betsy Tanaka of Mililani, Oahu, Grace Nakazawa of Mililani, O’ahu and Nancy Nakazawa of Kilauea; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Services were private.
