LIHUE – Bobby Texeira’s sacrifice fly in the first inning was the last score posted on the scoreboard Thursday night, and it gave the Braddah’s a 3-1 win over Ikaika.
Todd Young, who allowed just seven hits, took the win for the Braddah’s; Tomas Quest took the loss for Ikaika, although he allowed just eight hits.
Darryl Labuguen and Guy Higa had a single and one rbi apiece for the Braddah’s. Joe Arruda and Mike Alonzo each added two singles.
Donovan Travaso led Ikaika with a hit and one rbi; Eric Fujiwara added three singles.
Youngblood 13,
Hard Knocks 2
Dwayn Adachi knocked out two homeruns and notched six rbis to lead the Youngblood in a 13-2 drubbing of the Hard Knocks.
Hoku Cup Choy took the win, allowing eight hits. Paris Resinto took the loss for the Hard Knocks.
On top of Adachi’s offensive success, Rory Rayno added two rbis on two singles. Sam Dias and Mario Longboy each had two singles and one rbi. Bobby Kraus had three singles and one rbi. Dickie Koerte chipped in two hits.
Richard Rosa had one single, one triple and one rbi for the Hard Knocks; Bully Mission added two singles.

Don Ouderkirk took the win as Mike Ashenbrenner sent one over the fence and three to home plate in the Kaua’i Boy’s 9-1 win over Universal Delivery.
Ashenbrenner had two singles along with his homerun and three rbis. Owen Kawaihalau added an rbi on two hits. Wendel Gabriel and Paulmort Dasalia each had three hits.
Scott Ebesu, John Shishido and Dean Ichimasa each had two singles for Universal Delivery. Kent Tada had the team’s only rbi, which was off a single.
