KALAWAI – The Kalaheo Red Raiders’ offense exploded with three goals in the third quarter to top the Lihue Dragons 4-1 in an Under 12 Boys AYSO game Saturday at Kalawai Park.
Jared Matsumoto notched back-to-back goals in the third quarter and Matthew Warner chipped in the final Kalaheo point. Kalaheo’s Dwight Fujimoto deadlocked the score at 1 apiece before the half, and Lihue took an early lead off of a goal by Michael Fujikawa.

In the first quarter, Chad Sherman from the Terminators scored a goal, then in the second half, Joshua Quinlan from the Terminators scored the second goal.
The Tornadoes showed excellent kicking and passing skills but it wasn’t enough against an undefeated Terminator team.
Honorable mention to Casey Tangalin for an assist to Chad on the first goal and for stopping and blocking the Tornadoes’ goal with his face.
