Glenn Kadota
Glenn Kadota of Kapaa, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 21, 2002 at the age of 70.
Born in Kapaa, Kauai on Jan. 20, 1932, he was a retired Draftsman with the County of Kauai. He is survived by two brothers, Katsuyoshi Kadota and Clifton M. (Cora) Kadota both of Kapaa, Kauai; three sisters, Fusae (Kazutusgu) Morita of Kapaa, Kauai, Hideko (Noriyuki) Kurosaki of Lihue, Kauai and Yoshiko (Fred) Honda of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister-in-law, Tsugie Kadota; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Kapaa All Saints Episcopal Church; service officiated by Pastor Liz Beasley will begin at 10 a.m. Interment at the Kauai Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Bessie Sasaki
Bessie Sasaki of Lihue, Kauai, died at home on Sept. 22, 2002 at the age of 70.
Born in Lihue, Kauai on April 10, 1932, she was a Retired Sales person with Liberty House.
She is preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Higuchi and is survived by son, Blaine Sasaki of Lihue, Kauai; two sisters, Sally Higuchi of Honolulu and Amy (Mamoru) Yamada of Lihue, Kauai; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service officiated by Rev. Yukiko Motoyoshi will begin at 4 p.m. on Thurs. Sept. 26, at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission.

Maile Kekahu
Maile Kekahu, formerly of Waimea, Kaua’i, died at her residence in Kona on Sept. 2, 2002, at the age of 74.
Born in Waimea, Kaua’i, on April 11, 1928, she retired from Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Glendale, Calif. and also from Kona Bali Kai in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i.
She is survived by two sisters; Kawelo (Lawrence) Sabarre of Kona, and Thelma Blake of Koloa, and brothers; Simon Kekahu of Aiea, O’ahu, Ambla (Dorothy) Smith of Honolulu and Ambrose (Yoshie) Smith of Kekaha. There are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at the Waimea Neighborhood Center on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 4 p.m. Interment to follow at the Waimea UCC Cemetery.
