In the second quarter, Menehune running back Joseph Mecham brought Waimea’s offense within the red zone with two sparkling runs of 23 and 33 yards. In the red zone, Tsuchiya picked up his first TD with an eight-yard skip past the goal line. Waimea led 16-0 at the half.
