Margie Miklaucic of Kapaa, Kauai, died at Wilcox Mem. Hosp. on Sept. 5, 2002 at the age of 83.
Born in Texas on May 31, 1919, she was a Meat Wrapper at a Super Market.
She is survived by two sons, James P. Edwards of Kapaa, Kauai and Eddie Edwards of California; daughter, Linda (Steven) Grady of California.; five grandchildren; brother, Von Stevenson of Arkansas. Funeral service officiated by Elder D. Robert Bloom has been scheduled at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Kapaa.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Benito Irorita Sablay
Benito Irorita Sablay of Honolulu, and formerly of Kaua’i, died Sept. 10, 2002, at the age of 55.
A retired laborer for Lihue Plantation, he was born Aug. 5, 1947, in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.
He is survived by his wife: Zenaida Sablay of the Philippines; two daughters: Connie Caoili of Honolulu and Madeline Avila; one brother: Cornelio Sablay of Kauai; three sisters: Albina Fejeder of Kauai, Francisca Martinez of Kauai, and Consolacion Sablay of the Philippines; and two grandchildren.
Family and friends may call on Friday, Sept. 20, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. where services will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Father Keahi, cremation to follow.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick/Kaua’i Mortuary.
